Background

    This RPG is set, in an alternate timeline, some 50 years after the Deep Space Nine episode, The Sacrifice of Angels. The battle to retake Deep Space Nine is the place where this timeline breaks away. Instead of the Federation and its allies retaking Deep Space Nine and later going on to win the Dominion War, the Federation lost that battle, and went on to lose the war. The Federation was broken apart, high-ranking officials were murdered, and most starship's destroyed.

More History

51982.3-  Captain Picard and the U.S.S. Enterprise-E led a daring assault of miss-matched and battered ships to try and take back Earth. Needless to say, they were repelled. After the Picard Rebellion, no further organized resistance was offered. However, many small ships were still fighting the good-fight all throughout the Dominion's Domain.

52037.6-  The Intrepid-Class starship Voyager returns from the Delta Quadrant, and started the ill-fated Paris Offensive. Thirteen ships, and numerous shuttles attacked various Dominion outposts before being annihilated.

53201.1-  A small squad of the freedom-fighters, in the name of the United Federation of Planets, attacks a Cardiassian museum, and flees with the damaged U.S.S. Forrestal, NCC-57601, Sabre-Class starship that was on display there. Led by Admiral Yammatto, the Forrestal started a new era of resistance. We are the proud crew of the U.S.S. Forrestal.
